To remove the rear cup holder lift up the rear vent (1) and pull the cup holder (2) out.ģ. (the BMW coding cable i got from eobdtool. With INPA I got the following error: 240 Internal ECU error, which requires the airbag control module to be replaced I had the airbag light on in freezing temperatures. ZCS is like a guide which will tell for coding program which values the parameters in modules should have. Here, i share a DIY guide about airbag control unit replacement. " Then code car or the the modules that will have altered FSW_PSW by this change in ZCS (if you already know)." So after changing ZCS you have to do the actual coding with "Code car", which will code all the modules or with "SG_CODIEREN" for individual module(s). You missed the last sentence of my original post. No I changed the zcs, as you mentioned with the job name "ZCS_schreiben" I used it on the EWS and KMB, and it definitely made the change as the new ZCS was shown when logging into the modules, the light then didn't turn off until I changed the setting in the KMB, the light still stays off as it should, is there something I can do to tell its definitely coded out? Thinking back when you have logged onto the car then adapt the zcs, do I not then go into any "ecu's" and just change the job to "ZCS_schreiben" and does it then write onto all modules or is the way I done it still changed all modules to the right ZCS?

Thanks very much clavurion I did exactly as you had written and my light is turned off, I was worried about deleting the last digit off all 3 numbers as I presumed they where supposed to be characters, did it and still had the light after coding new zcs to ews and kmb, then had to go into kmb and change ehc to neiche_active (sp) and light has dissapeared and it doesn't check for it on start up neither, thanks again as I hate having any sort of warning on my dash, a can now drive in piece, and I have the knowledge and tools to adapt my zcs if needs be again Then code car or the the modules that will have altered FSW_PSW by this change in ZCS (if you already know). You can do this by choosing the module and then "change job" to "ZCS_schreiben" (=write ZCS). You can code car with that ZCS or do it as it should and save the new ZCS in instrument cluster and EWS holdind the ZSC. Now you have a new ZCS without that additional equipment. Remember that 10=A, B =11, etc) Remove the last check bits in GM, SA, VN and check the box "calculate check sum". (For example if the bit value is 6, new value is 4. Then change SA, take off that one bit "2".
